It was such a great experience to have the opportunity to design an apartment in the most picturesque neighborhood of Manhattan. It is located just around the corner from Sex and the City and Friends movie sets. ​The historic building made out in 1900’ with its unique vibe, gave us quite a challenge to complete the whole renovation.

Narrow corridors, steep staircases and a ton of board rules were a reason for the long duration of the whole renovation - it took around 6 months to complete. It was worth to wait however! It was such a pleasent project thanks to Tami (owner) and Raffi (construstruction crew). We wanted to bring a fresh perspective into this old historical interior. I would call this style eclectic mixed with airy classics. Traditional design is all about symetry that’s why we’ve incorporated a lot of custom elements into this space. The focal point is a newly build arch which divides the kitchen and the dinning room. The color pallet chosen for this space will definitely stand the test of time, because we mainly used neutral, earthy tones. The whole interior is a perfect blend of modern and cosy accents which makes this space perfect for a family.
